GERMAN WWII MOUNTAIN TROOPER'S WINTER CAMOUFLAGE
Later pattern, three quarter length, lightweight, waterproofed, white and field-green, cotton/rubber construction reversible, pull-over, snow camouflage anorak features a short, vertical, V-neck slash with five pair of alloy lace-up grommets and a woven, white cotton drawstring (this is not original). Wind flap is complete. The anorak has three, horizontally aligned, patch pockets running across the upper breast. The two side pockets feature reversed, box pleats, while the central pocket is non-pleated and all three pockets have scalloped, button down, flaps. The anorak had a tunnel looped, woven, white cotton/rayon, fit adjustment, drawstring positioned horizontally at the waistline.(string missing) The anorak has straight cut, dual-ply hemmed, sleeve cuffs with three, small, vertical tapering darts. Fit adjustment cuff straps are complete. Strap that comes up between the legs is missing. All the buttons look to be complete and have original stitching. Typical aging and a few stains to the white side, but overall excellent condition and complete example. The anoraks were cut large enough to fit over the standard uniform . COMPLETE AS FOUND CONDITION; NOTHING RESTORED OR MADE NEW; NOT CLEANED
